The Role:

The Account Director, Strategy Lead, is a strategic, insightful, and dynamic leader. They will lead key accounts and projects, ensuring a clearly defined, measurable strategy is at the forefront of all projects. Passionate about achieving results, the successful candidate will lead the project team to deliver exceptional work across a range of services and always alongside an outstanding client experience. They believe in the importance of exceptional client experience and are a committed team player. 

Reporting to the VP Strategy & Impact, key responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Leading the execution of complex strategic projects and campaigns aligned to client objectives and agency standards and managing the project plan. 
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor. 
  • Mentoring and developing the account team through collaboration and training opportunities.  
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and agency strategies. 
  • Participating in business development efforts, including developing client proposals and identifying opportunities for growth. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in client services or account management within a marketing agency. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex client accounts and campaign. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to develop teams. 
  • Deep understanding of marketing channels and best practices.
